ONE YEAR MONEY BACK GUARANTEE: The Scalewatcher system will prevent or highly reduce accumulation of scale in your pipes, faucets, showerheads water heaters and all other water appliances. If you are not satisfied with the results, call or email our company within 12 months from delivery, to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RAN), return the unit undamaged shipping prepaid and you will receive a full refund of your purchase price within 14 days of receipt of the unit. (*)

Note: Scalewatcher will also remove existing scale, during the first 30 to 90 days you can expect old scale to dissolve or flake off and come out through your faucets, make sure you keep the aerator screens clean! After this cleansing period the full benefits of ScaleWatcher will be noticed.
Important: A hardness test will give similar results before and after Scalewatcher because it measures mineral content. Scalewatcher places the hard minerals in suspension preventing them from forming limescale.


(*) This guarantee applies to the 3 star and 5 star residential models only, the Small Wonder and Scalewatcher mini have a four month money back guarantee. The purpose of this guarantee is to ensure customer satisfaction from your Scalewatcher following a reasonable period from installation. You must have tried the Scalewatcher during at least three months of continuous operation. If you believe the unit is not operating correctly you must contact your supplier before disconnecting the system. Your supplier may be able to advice on an alternative method of installation or by supplying a free upgrade to a more powerful system. Should he be unable to assist in resolving the problem by system modification or upgrade, then you will be offered a refund of the unit price on return of the unit in good condition. Failure to follow the procedure outlined in our warranty may result in the assessment of a 15% re stocking fee.

MANUFACTURER'S LIMITED WARRANTY

Scalewatcher 3 star, 4 star and 5 star are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for TEN YEARS(**) following the date of delivery and covers parts and labor. In the unlikely event of Scalewatcher becoming unserviceable, i.e. the green light fails to illuminate, Scalewatcher North America Inc. will, at its election, repair or replace defective units. To make a claim under this Limited Warranty, you must first obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) from your supplier, by providing date and proof of purchase, serial number found on the back of the unit, then return the product, freight prepaid, to Scalewatcher North America Inc. 345 Lincoln Street Oxford, PA 19363 USA indicating the RMA number on the label.

This guarantee does not extend to any other electrical or water appliance or device that may be in use by the user of Scalewatcher and we accept no liability for the malfunction of any device other than Scalewatcher, which has, either directly or indirectly been sold to the user. Scalewatcher does not affect the potability or the natural mineral content of the water, as there is nothing in contact with the water. Therefore, we accept no responsibility for water quality.

(**) The manufacturer's guarantee for the the Small Wonder and Scalewatcher mini is three years (two years by the manufacturer, one additional year by Aqua Genesis).

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO STATED TERM SPECIFIED FOR EACH MODEL. SOME STATES IN THE U.S. DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN NO EVENT SHALL SELLER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LIABILITY FOR LOSS OF PROFITS) ARISING FROM THE SALE OR USE OF THIS PRODUCT. SOME STATES IN THE U.S. DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY APPLIES ONLY TO SCALEWATCHER ELECTRONIC WATER CONDITIONERS SOLD WITHIN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, CANADA AND THE COMMONWEALTH OF PUERTO RICO.
